The Manulife Securities Masters Private Account Program is an investment management program that offers clients direct access to world class Portfolio Managers who are dedicated to managing their money on an individual basis.
The Masters Private Account Program offers clients a full range of benefits including discretionary account management through direct access to seven world-class Portfolio Managers and seventeen mandates across various asset classes. This elite product is unique to Manulife Securities and is tailored for clients with over $100,000 in investable assets.
Personal Portfolio Management Experience
Through the Masters Program, clients will have access to money managers that are dedicated to managing money, taking into account investment objectives. Backed by the investment strength of Manulife Financial, the Masters Program has partnered with some of North America’s largest and most respected money management organizations. In conjunction with Investment Management Services, each money manager was carefully selected through a disciplined screening process.
Independent, Impartial Due Diligence
Manulife Securities’ Masters Program has partnered with Investment Management Services, a team of investment professionals who currently monitor over $158 billion in assets worldwide, to provide objective analysis on every sub-advisor in the Masters Program. It is our goal to ensure that your client interests remain protected at all times and that their portfolio stays on track.
Creating the Opportunity for Tax Efficiency
Unlike mutual funds, where assets are pooled with money contributed by other investors, clients directly own the securities in their Masters account. This flexibility enables the Masters Program to offer many tax management efficiencies; because clients own their securities, the cost basis of every security is established at the time of purchase. They are not subject to the tax inefficiencies caused by high portfolio turnover in mutual funds and can benefit from targeted tax loss harvesting.
One All-Inclusive Fee
One all-inclusive fee covers all costs relating to the administration of client’s Masters account, including investment advice, portfolio management and trading costs.
